I got my first butterfly photo of the year at the weekend. There were 3 Peacock butterflies in the garden and I was lucky enough to have this one pose for me after I’d run and got my camera! Such a beautiful butterfly, possibly underappreciated because it’s quite common.

This is lovely. I too have seen early butterflies – but so far, they won’t keep still while I get my camera out!
