This week I finished the rib on the Giddy Jumper and started one of the sleeves:
I’m still having some doubts about how close-fitting it is, but so far I think it looks ok, so I’m persisting. Here’s how it looks on…
My attempts to pose are quite funny, but the main thing is how the jumper looks!
I had an urge to start another quick and easy hexy cardi this week, so I started one with some Hobbycraft yarn (Knitcraft Picklechops DK). As I see more how the colours look crocheted up, I’m starting to think this isn’t one for me to wear. I love the colours, but they’re just not me. So now to decide do I stop quite soon and make it a baby/toddler cardi, or do I keep going and make it big enough for Abi to wear instead of me? Hmm not sure yet.
I think because the Giddy Jumper is all small stitches and thinking about when and where I need to change colours, a hexy is a nice relaxing break. I might start another one in a yarn that’s more me, or maybe I’ll make a few baby ones to give away, who knows.
Oh and one more thing, my Fancy Hat has had a couple of outings this week…

Looking good! Love the colours. I crochet too, but haven’t yet put anything about it on my site… note to self – should share!
