Sunday Crochet Update 9/2/25

This week I have been mainly working on the Star Blanket and it’s grown a lot! I think I only have one cake of this yarn left, so that will decide how big it gets! It’s getting harder to take a picture of it now so I have to lay it out on my big double bed. This will probably be where it ends up once finished anyway. It’s a very soothing make, with nice simple repeats when you get used to it. I’ve been able to work on it in my lunch breaks at work and read on my kindle at the same time!

This week I felt like picking up one of my WIPs that posted about at the beginning of the year, so I’ve done a few more rows on this hexy made from James C Brett Shh. It’s lovely and light and fluffy.

I also had a rather random urge to make something out of some yarn that’s been sat in my stash for a while, so I started another hexy! They seem to be my go-to item to make these days, just simple straightforward grannyesque work which you can customise as you go to fit yourself.

One thing I haven’t done anything on this week is the Giddy Jumper. I would like to finish it but the sleeves are just not that fun compared to making a nice chilled hexy. I will try and get back to it at some point soon though.
