How is it the 9th of March already, I swear it was just Christmas! Not that I’m complaining as it means spring is here! The weather is sunny and warm, and flowers are appearing.
Some of the daffodils are still in bud:
And others are already open:
And if you look closely at those 2 you may see that there are insects appearing too!

Spring positivity seems to have infected me as I’ve signed up to do Race for Life (raising money for Cancer Research UK) in May with my daughter. There won’t be a lot of actual racing going on from me, as I can’t run, but I’ll be walking 3km as briskly as I can with my stick to help. My daughter has taken up running so will be running the 5km. She may be waiting a while for me to finish! If you are able to, we’d welcome any donations on our fundraising page.
