Sunday Crochet (& Jigsaw) Update 1/6/25

This week I actually have a finished item! I finished my Perran Ripple Tee 😀

It fits just as I like it and is very pretty and lovely to wear 🙂 Really happy with it!

Pattern: MissBackxels 3 in 1 chevron set
Yarn: Perran Yarns on their DK Egyption base (50% baby alpaca, 25% linen and 25% silk)

I’ve also done a few rows of the Clear Skies Cardi. Still slow going, but it is growing gradually!

I decided this week that I should frog my Giddy Jumper. I hadn’t touched it since early February as I lost my faith in it. I do love the pattern but it was a closer fit than I usually go for and I felt like I’d be self-conscious. Also I didn’t have enough of the yarn I’d been using to match the colour changes on the sleeves. So it has now been frogged back. I’m thinking of doing a hexy cardi, doing the two sides at the same time so I don’t run out of yarn. We shall see…

I also finished another jigsaw yesterday…

Now I have a jigsaw pause while I wait for an order from The Works to arrive – there was an offer so I couldn’t resist getting some new jigsaws!
