Not all my photos from my snowdrop walk came out well. This one was not in focus at all! So I decided to let that aspect of the image lead me and ended up with this dreamy, soft-focus shot after a bit of editing. I struggle with always wanting perfect crisp focus, but this reminds me that you don’t have to have that in order for an image to work. I think it emphasises the delicacy and wonder of these little droplets of hope 🙂

I spent days trying to get a perfect shot of snowdrops last year, even buying a mini tripod. Next time I’ll bring a bunch home and put them in a jar.
