Birthday Walk

Yesterday I enjoyed a birthday walk at Cors Caron. It was a little cooler than it has been recently so it was a great chance to go and enjoy the wildlife without completely melting! 🙂

The path you go on at first is an old railway line which is now a lovely path with wildflowers all around:

Then you turn off onto the boardwalk for a circular walk around the bog.

Here’s what we saw at this latest visit…

Lots of wildflowers:

We decided that the dragonfly who liked my hat was giving me a birthday gift by visiting. I’m glad my daughter was there to get a photo for me!
