What could be more ordinary than a wall, a fence, a boardwalk, a shed or path? And yet, the ordinary can be made extraordinary…
A paving slab decorated with butterflies:
A shed, similarly adorned:
What about the path you are walking on? Watch your step, there are beauties beneath your feet!
Fences provide a place to perch or somewhere to peek out of:
Walls may be more solid than fences, but still you can find wonders in the ordinary:
Even a simple twig can be a place to explore

Beautiful embellishments, especially the mosses and lichens. 🙂

What a great take on the theme! I love all your butterflies and dragonflies (damselflies?) but the star of the collection is the twig 😀 Amazing macro shots!

Wonderful photos. That’s a very interesting take on the theme. Giving some time to the ordinary so that something makes it different. Beautiful nature shots, as always

Terrific images Suzy – I especially liked your final image before the twigs – your bokeh on that one is really wonderful and those little twigs simply demand attention!
