Sunday Crochet Update 10/8/25

This week I have a finished item! Shocking as there hasn’t been any finishing for quite some time now! My Jewelspun Shawl is finished! Of course I still haven’t learnt how to sensibly wear a shawl without feeling ridiculous, but there’s time before the autumn and winter to practice! 😂

It’s a bit big so have to drape it for photos

How about this position?

Or perhaps this position!?

Then I try wearing it

What do I look like?

I am happy, honest!

The stripy Tunisian shawl has also grown and I’ve reached the first colour change where the dark blue gets a thread of lighter blue and the light blue gets a thread of darker blue. It’s hard to see the change but you can see it in the close-up.

I have finally got around to sewing in more ends on my Giddy Hexi Cardi but still not finished. I would like to actually wear it so need to persuade myself to get on and finish the ends so I can do that!

I haven’t finished my current jigsaw yet. The funny shaped pieces have made it more of a challenge but I’m nearly done now. It has been fun to be a bit different.

Oh and here’s Tabs overseeing the photographing of the Jewelspun shawl!
